Celebrating 25+ Years of Impact: 2025 Vision Report now live, with support from the Madison Community Foundation

At this year’s Celebration of Leadership, we previewed our 2025 Vision Report, highlighting 25+ years of positive impact and new initiatives inspired by community feedback. In an era of rising anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and vital resource decline, our mission to support Wisconsin’s queer and trans community– especially our most marginalized– is more urgent than ever.

In the past year, we’ve enriched our efforts by welcoming two Black, Queer leaders to our team and expanding vital programs like TrueYou– a support group led by and for transgender and nonbinary youth in Milwaukee– and our Family Program, fostering advocacy and connection for caregivers across the state.

These advancements reflect our ongoing commitment to effectively respond to the evolving needs and priorities of our community, especially centering queer and transgender people of color. Our progress has been made possible in large part by the Madison Community Foundation’s Community Impact grant, which supports organizations building a vibrant, equitable Wisconsin. We are deeply grateful for their partnership as we continue working toward a future where all LGBTQ+ individuals can live authentically, supported by a community that champions their rights.

GSAFE is Wisconsin’s statewide LGBTQ+ education and advocacy organization, committed to building thriving school communities for LGBTQ+ youth and students. As the community’s foundation, Madison Community Foundation plays a vital role in local philanthropy. Together with donors and the nonprofits they support, MCF strives to help the Madison area become a vibrant and generous place where all people thrive.
