Be a Champion for LGBTQ+ Youth! for The Big Share

The Big Share is March 5th. Help us go BIG, become a Champion for LGBTQ+ Youth!

The Big Share is a one-day giving event organized by Community Shares of Wisconsin that supports over 70 environmental and social justice groups in Wisconsin, including GSAFE!

There are a number of ways to help us out on March 5th. One simple way is to sign up to be a Champion for LGBTQ+ Youth! Champions and provide a photo and short testimonial about why you support GSAFE’s work and LGBTQ+ youth. We’ll create an image for you like the ones seen here for you to share on social media and via email with friends and family to build excitement and momentum for the event.

And then join our GSAFE Champions Facebook group to connect with other Champions and be the first to know about additional ways to help out leading up to and on March 5th.

Did we mention there are more ways to support GSAFE’s Big Share share efforts? Here’s what you need to know:

  1. Be a GSAFE Groundbreaker by making an early donation before March 5th. Your early donation will be combined with other early donations to create a match challenge at our $10 at 10 and $5 at 5 fundraising pushes. Will you be a Groundbreaker? If yes, please make an early donation of any amount and send a photo and quote to and we’ll create a special image just for you!
  2. Create a Peer to Peer (P2P) Fundraising page & invite other friends to do the same! A collective effort and tapping into your social network expands our reach and helps us raise funds for GSAFE’s important and vital work supporting LGBTQ+ youth. Click the “Fundraise” button on our Big Share landing page and use your Facebook profile or email address to create your personal page. Our goal is to find 20 people who can each commit to trying to raise $100 via this method, is one of them you?
  3. Make a donation on March 5th and use social media and email to encourage your friends and family to do the same. ANY time is a good time to donate, but your donation will have double the impact during the “$10 at 10” and “$5 at 5” fundraising drives. Watch this page or be sure to “like” our Facebook page for more information!

Thank you in advance for your help. Together we’re going to make a BIG difference for LGBTQ+ youth in Wisconsin schools!
