Youth Leadership Training

GSAFE provides many opportunities for middle school and high school youth to develop their leadership skills and connect with one another:

Leadership Training Institute

Leadership Training Institute (LTI) is our four-day summer camp for high school students.  We have been holding LTI since 2000.  Click here to read more about LTI.  Applications will be available early in 2017.

Foundations of Leadership

Foundations of Leadership (FOL) is a course for Madison high school students presented in partnership with MMSD and UW-Madison.  9th and 10th graders who are gifted in the areas of leadership are eligible to enroll, and the class focuses on LGBTQ, racial, and social justice.  Read more about FOL here.

Youth Leadership Board

GSAFE’s Youth Leadership Board is comprised of Dane County high school students who come to weekly meetings at the GSAFE office to help develop, guide, and implement our programming for other students.  Read more about YLB here.
