Fair Wisconsin Seeking Field Organizer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Fair Wisconsin Education Fund, Fair Wisconsin Inc. and Fair Wisconsin PAC, collectively known as Fair Wisconsin, seek a field organizer to begin immediately. The Filed Organizer is a mid-level position responsible for implementing the details of the field plan. This position is full time with campaign type hours and working environment. Field Organizer reports to the Field Director, and is located in Madison, WI with travel around the state required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Field Organizer’s primary function is to assist with implementation of the field plan including:

 

‣          Recruit, train and retain volunteers

‣          Track daily, weekly and project goals and benchmarks

‣          Manage data entry

‣          Event prep and execution

‣          Presentation to small groups

‣          Manage volunteer phone banks

‣          Manage volunteer canvasses

‣          Manage paid canvasses

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates will be organized and able to work semi-independently with the following qualities:  a passion and enthusiasm to elect pro-fairness candidates, strong interpersonal communications skills, positive attitude, outgoing, motivational, ability to work in a fast paced ever changing work environment, experience with data bases particularly VAN helpful, proficient in Microsoft Office required. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license is required. Campaign experience preferable.
