GSAFE shifts structure to align with organizational mission and values

GSAFE is honored to announce an exciting shift in our organizational structure. Ali Muldrow, Racial Justice Organizer since 2014 and Brian Juchems, long-time staff member and current Senior Director of Education and Policy, will share leadership as GSAFE Co-Directors. Sawyer Johnsonwill continue in their role of youth programming since 2016 under the new title of Youth Justice Program Coordinator.

This staff-driven change reflects a deliberate process by GSAFE board and staff to align our organizational structure with GSAFE mission and values of justice and equity. Additionally, an environment of shared responsibility for programming and organizational management empowers staff to deliver high-impact advocacy and programs while strategically utilizing all resources and responding to the shifting local and national landscape of gender and racial justice. In announcing Ali and Brian J.’s co-directorship, GSAFE is most excited to model our organizational values for the youth with whom we work and serve across Wisconsin.
