Advancing Educational Justice

Educational Justice is a framework for improving schools so that LGBTQ youth, youth of color, low-income youth, and youth with disabilities all thrive.

GSAFE strives to incorporate this framework into all areas of programming, including our youth leadership programs, our work with GSAs, and our educator trainings.  We work to build relationships with other organizations who support and organize youth most likely to be impacted by the school-to-prison pipeline.

To read more on how the school-to-prison pipeline particularly impacts LGBT youth, check out this guest blog written by Tim Michael for the National Council on Crime & Delinquency here.
